Monday Motivation:  Don't Wait!

After attending a funeral service for a very young promising man, this anonymous meme appeared on my personal Facebook timeline and it clarified a life goal.

Maybe the best life approach is to have the courage to live like we were dying. To put love first. To forgive. To spend time doing things that will leave a lasting impression with those we encountered during our life's journey.

Most of us don’t get a warning that our time will be up soon.  And those that do get this warning are usually too ill or the time left too short to make many amendments to their lives.

We often hear the sentiment ‘when my time comes,’ or ‘in the future’ or ‘when the kids are grown’ or ‘when I retire,’ but this leads to a life spent planning for a future (that we might not even have) rather than living in the moments.

We shouldn’t wait! Sadly, the future is not something that is guaranteed.
